What sun sign were you born under?

Maybe I'm just biased but I think Aquarians / Air Signs make the best hippies / free thinkers.

(Only had ten options so I lumped together the two I thought were least likely to be scouring these boards...)

 

I'm a Pisces (YAY! I'm a mermaid!). I don't know much about us Pisces/Water Signs.

OT: Why do people call it sun signs instead of zodiacs? It's much easier to call it zodiacs.

Because its the position the Sun was in at your birth, as opposed to which position the moon, jupiter, Venus, Mars, and the other planets and asteroids were in. It avoids confusion and also avoids making astrology look stupid, simplified or babified, as it is a complex science.

The signs of the zodiac are infact the sectors of the sky each of these planets moves through

As a side point, I've read a little about the general traits of people born under each sign, and when I look at the people I know, the traits don't always match the people. I don't know a whole lot about astrology, but from what I've heard, it seems that some of it is open to interpretation.

I quit trying to define myself and others based on what astrology says. Astrology is interesting, but for me it just doesn't fit the bill.

I’m an Aquarius, but I don’t really dig that stuff. I’ve got a friend who is really into all that and gave me my star chart. It’s all a little unbelievable to me, but I think I am an Aquarius with a Virgo rising or something, and your rising is supposed to be the one that really matters I think.

according to western astrology in pisces but in reality the sun was in the sign of aquarius when I was born...

 

I am glad this has been made public in such a way now, for plantations and all the rest I have been using the real signs since 2001 already.

 

I`m a Taurus; Earth & Air signs make the best hippies in my opinion. Taurus` are VERY bold & stand by their beliefs <-I`d say they`d make amazing protesters! & they`re also very artsy & connect to nature on a deep level<-tree huggers!
