wow.. that is very sad.. he was a great kid.. caught up in a bit of personal drama and struggle.. i really liked him.. R.I.P.

We have a report that our beloved Ranger has passed away after a lengthy illness with COPD.

Hip Forums will miss his presence and contributions.

I am sorry to hear that Ranger has passed. He was a good man and he will be missed.

 

I'll always remember him telling me his trick to tame feral cats = Bait Shrimp.

He told me he'd coaxed them into his lap with that.

He had such a big soft heart.

"Doc" has posthumously been given the title of "Super Moderator", which he always wanted.

 

^ this made me cry hearing friends and family talk of his spirit and good nature in the video. the man at the end who started to cry broke my heart.

Never met him or knew him but sorry I didn't. He sounds like a good guy, who struggled to live with a positive outlook on life, sorry for the loss to those who knew and loved him.
