Heh... those uh... "modern" characters are kinda um.... 2D? Theyre seen in short segments of garbled nonscence with no story. Dexter is a cartoon sienfeld with explosions. Think about it. Is there a continuing story? Charlie Brown? Well... Dang Charlie was a bland bland man. Snoopy doesnt even talk! SpongeBob..... ok I'm not even gonna go there for fear of ranting (even more.) Garfield is a sarcastic lazy cat... Not much to it. I've been reading him since I was about 5 too so dont tell me nothin about oldschool... I was there when he was even fatter then he is now. Arnold... This character is the latest attempt to teach morals and values to children, thus reducing the parents jobs. The result? Hyper-predictabillity from the get go. Anime characters... those are cartoons with bollocks there (some of em.) Armitage the 3rd, Ghost in a Shell, Vampire Hunter D, Reccord of the Loddus War... Those are some examples of cartoons with characters with more then broad traits. Sorry to piss all over your quiz but I do love me some cartoons...
