I saw it! Loved most of it!(ha, wish there was more Snape/Rickman in the film)

Question for those who have seen it: Was the film/screen dark, like did the whole movie had a blue tint that made everything really dark? I'm assuming it was the theater I was at since the tv clips are lighter(like any normal movie).

the Harry Potter films do mostly have a bit of a bluish tint to them...but yeah, i dunno

I loved it, i saw it at an improptu matinee with my freinds after achool at 1 PM...goign again tonight with my sisters [when i had origioally planned to first see it]

quick question: was i the only one who laughed when wormtail dumped voldemmort into the cauldron? i mean, it was just so inredibly funny :D

haha...a limp, skinny fetus, kinda plopping in the milky liquid....that was quite funny.

Good movie all together. My favorite of the movies so far, but of couse nothing compares to the book.

I loved it. I have seen it twice so far and I think I am going to go IMAX it sometime this week.... : )

The blue tint is just a style thing I think. I guess they are getting darker as the films get darker.

For those who have read the book... Were you upset at all they left out? Some of the little things are what makes the book so great I think. I really missed SPEW and Doby's part in the story. For 2 1/2 hours it really felt rushed...

I wasnt upset...its just a part in making movies out of books...if you think they left out stuff in "GOF" think of how much theyll have to leave out in "Order of the Phoenix". Its just inevitable

i saw it yesterday... i really liked it, up until the ending. the story was just unwinding and then rushed it to the end... i was kind of upset because i had just wasted 2 and a half hoursof that.. but i got to hang out with my jenessa, so that wascool. :p had i been there alone i wouldve been in a rather not-good mood as i walked out of there.

i havent read any of the books.

I thought it was pretty good and all. Of course there is always room for perfection.

I agree that the ending wasn't satisfactory here. At the end of each book (and film) the reader / viewer always gets the plot reviewed, things that weren't known to Harry that had led to the climax are explained, and stuff. In the 4th movie, it stays a bit too fuzzy for non-readers to fully comprehend. Shame.

Overall the acting has again improved greatly of all three main characters, even though Dan still can't cry for shit. There were a lot of funny scenes of which I was afraid that they wouldn't make it to the movie. Rita Skeeter and Moaning Myrtle's return were marvellous.

There were of course some adaptations made to the script that I wasn"t fully happy about but those were necessary just like the rather sudden changes of scenery. In this light I found some scenes rather superfluous even if some of them were very nice. Still, somehow I didn't find the adaptions as distracting from the movie as I found with movie 3, I don't know why. I think this is the funnest made as of yet. :)

    I liked it

Hadn't read any Harry Potter, only saw the first movie, not even into fantasy much.
So am very impressed that they made it entertaning and easily understood for the likes of me.

yeah some of the "review" was left out but what else are you going to cut when you have to fit a 800 plus page book into a movie? Should they have cut more plot or plot review? I think you see my point :)

However I agree that the story seemed over edited / chopped but I understand why!

Yeah me too - i know they had to be ruthless, but still...they chopped so much out they had to rewrite some of the plot, i don't think the changed plot was as good or as exciting...like the quidditch match.

but ah well, it was still really enjoyable..The ball scene was great, hermione looked gorgeous...

and it cracked me up how the weasley twins and ron have started going all long haired and metro.

They could easily have left the Sirius-in-the-fire scene out, which hardly gave any useful new information and wasn't in any way spectacular or funny.

The Weasleys rock, long hair über alles!!
