Wisest scripture?

Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits.

 

I find the Bible to be confusing and even contradicting in some parts, but there’s a lot of wisdom there, too. Timeless wisdom.

The book of Job has always been my favorite because I think he’s relatable. His life fell apart but he kept his faith.

 

Proverbs 2:10-12
When wisdom enters your heart
And knowledge becomes pleasant to your soul
Thinking ability will keep watch over you
And discernment will safeguard you
To save you from the bad course
From the man speaking perverse things

 

1cor4:17
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous. It does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. then why does archeological evidence back up the bible?

There were real people and real places but archaeology most certainly does not back up any divinity or invisible men
