    Maybe , but not the "gag me with a spoon", "whateverrrr" type, I'll bet. That's San Fernando=speak.


    One time I was putting on a roof in the San Fernando vally and just over the fence were about 10 or 12 girls speaking their particular type of California-San Fernando--speak---and I found out that it IS REAL! Really funny to hear.

    When I crossed Canada in 1970, everyone sounded just about like me. Except for the "eh" and instead of --say--about--it was a-boat..

    Last time I was in the states I thought they all sounded like me, but everyone kept saying "Are you canadian? You sound canadian."

    Fluent Deutsch, Ostralian English.
    Can get around with minimal Polish, well, I know how to order drinks etc. >.>

    Want to learn Swedish or Norwegian or Danish.

    I'm fluent in Deutsch (native tongue Merican) but can't understand Dutch at all. My wife can (and Norwegian too).

    Oh, yeah I guess I never answered that. Native would be German. Just to mix things up a bit I at times will say I actually speak Austrian. That's where I was born. :D I'll just point out that it's the same language spoken in Germany though. :D
