Going old school I guess with Duke Nukem Forever. I got a PS now subscription for the month and I never played it before. I don't think it's as bad as people say. It's just like the old one I played on N64. Same crude humor and over the top violence. But all the naughty things he says are less impressive to me now that I can porn and beer but still funny.
The one on N64 was already a recycled one. Played Duke nukem to death on PC in the 90s. Don't think many more people enjoyed it more than me But i do think i enjoyed it so much because there was not much better at the time (certainly not in its particular genre: FPS). And i wasn't used to a lot, like the crude humor, the level design etc. Definitely wouldn't enjoy it to the same extent now!
The following are looking good for backwards compatible. For some reason I have trouble spending $60+ on a game and then keeping it. I always end up taking it back for a refund or selling it back to Gamestop (Gamestop is a store here that buys and sells videogames and consoles, etc.). Deus Ex: Human Revolution Tron Evolution Mass Effect 3 (don't know if it requires internet or not) Anyone played these?
I've played Deus Ex and Mass Effect. I really liked them both. They are worth it used especially since they are probably cheaper now since they are last gen. I know a lot of people did not like the ending of Mass Effect but I thought it was OK. But some fans got really into the story and got more attached to the characters then I did.
The game had a cool story for me because the town he lives in is close to me. There really is a university there.
Good game so far, but I can't figure out the fishing! Has anyone played this and had trouble getting a bite? The first time I played I could catch fish with no problem. But I had an issue with disc tray in my old xbox one, had to replace it with my new Xbox One S (I think that's what it's called), and unfortunately, lost my game! So I had to start over with my new machine, and somehow, now the fish aren't biting. I've tried changing lures (different lures attract different fish?) with no success so far. I can't think of what I would be doing differently than that first time when the fish were constantly biting. For those who haven't played this, fishing isn't even remotely the main aspect of the game, but I want to try to catch something to eat. It will give my characters status buffs; and while there are plenty of other things for me to eat, I'd like to try the fish! After all, it's the main character's skill in the game. The other characters on my team, Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus, all have individual skills they are good at. Prompto's is photography, and Ignis' is cooking (he'd be cooking the fish if I could hook one). I can't remember what Gladiolous' is called, but he essentially finds useful items that are left laying around in the game which are then attributed to your items list. Anyway... Can't catch fish. :bigcry:
The usual, my only one... Il-2 Sturmovik 1946 . Greatest warplane realistic sim ever. You spend all the time fiddling with prop pitch, fuel mix, supercharger stages, control trimming, flaps settings, and watching gauges to prevent engine seizures. Then some nazi appears at your six and it is time to start doing aerobatics dodging streams of hun autocannon fire. Ah the satisfaction of performing a perfect snap roll and finding the Messer in _your_ gunsight.
i bought a new tv so yesterday i dug out my old gamecube and played a bit of zelda windwaker id already finished it so i just continued on my nephews profile from his last save ...
Last game I finished was The last of us on ps4. Glad I played this remastered ps3 classic! Seriously not to be missed! Better late than never :cheers2: Not been busy with a game lately. Until dawn was fun. Great if you like teen horrors like I know what you did last summer and Scream. More fun to play than I expected
currently i'm on the last dungeon of legend of zelda's second quest. i've done the first quest a bunch of times, but i don't think i've ever actually played through the second one. i also recently beat the second quest on super mario bros for the first time. i always assumed it would be super hard so i never even tried, but it's actually not that different.
Mostly FFXIV but a friend just got me Ori and the Blind Forest and I love it. It's so pretty and sad all at the same time! ♥
I don't really know about other FF games because I've only ever played XIV but..in FFXIV, you have to use certain lures/bait with certain fish. Time of day as well as weather can impact what fish you can catch. I'm sure there is a reddit post somewhere that would tell you which lures for which fish. Good luck!
Just finished Life is strange for the first time. Got all episodes for free with psplus awhile ago Great game, loved it!
Recently i've been playing Peggle2, just to keep me busy until i pick up a copy or digital download of Destiny 2 and Call of Duty WW2.
