Nothing. Back in the day, I was a FF/NREMT-P, air med qualified, ACLS/BTLS/PALS instructor, auto extrication specialist, wilderness/mountain/whitewater SAR tech, Divemaster. Now I'm nobody. Just another old fat guy shuffling along with a cane and a rip roarin' case of PTSD.
My husband was in the Coast Guard on a Cutter that worked the North Atlantic in the winter and Drug patrols in the Summer! I understand what your life is like!
I work for the pension regulator for the province. I wouldn't say I love the work but it's Ok. It's good that I can work from home these days. I often think of quitting and getting back into art somehow.
Hungn up my mail bags to be retired carpenter, turned bee keeper, homestead gardener and investor with a small 401K that built up small bit when I worked union jobs. Still dip net my salmon supply and mostly eat wild meat.
Retired from military a long time ago - retired from contractor support to military also a long time ago. Now sucking off the social largess and my meager pensions. It's nice not getting up early or working late.
