    The Italian De Tomaso Panteras had a Ford engine and were sold through Mercury dealerships, knew a guy that had one. His brother had the Merc dealership in town and set him up selling Yamaha bikes. Largest dealer on the East coast. I worked for him for awhile...but that's another story.
    He toltaled it after a few months.

    Oh, I remember the Vincent. I had a 1963 Triumph TT120. Eleven and a half compression ratio.

    As a kid, I remember seeing people junking and throwing away Datsun 240Zs, MGs, classic Mustangs, and many more of that category.

    Nowadays that's considered mortal sin.

    Gotta be careful a out buying one of those. There’s some people who will counterfeit a regular Plymouth or Dodge by putting on a fake fiberglass front end, and rear spoiler. Just to try and add $100k to the price tag.

    That one in the picture is in sorry shape, but restorable.

    I used to sell reproduction engine's and had a chance to drive one around Darlington raceway! I hit 160 mph!

    The 1970 Trans Am only came in two color schemes... White with the blue stripe, or blue with a white stripe.
