I normally do put the stink bugs outside, but it is freezing outside still here, and they come in here in the first place for warmth.

Cute, aren't they? friendly little helicopters.

stink bugs are probably the laziest insect ever. i've seen them park themselves on a curtain and not move for over a week; i only knew they were alive because i went to dispose of the corpses and they flew away when i touched them. they only live a few months, i would think that if you didn't bother them they might never move their entire life.

Seems the only insects I'm biased towards are ladybugs, grasshoppers, and butterflies. Wouldn't make friends with any others I don't think..

Unless you count fireflies. Those are awesome. We don't have them where I'm from.

I had one of those marmorated stink bugs on my living room drape.
A little less the size of a thumb nail.

Gentley picked it up and tossed out the front door. In mid air , wings came out and flew out of sight.

I always think of a certain piece of entertainment now when i read the word firefly, ever since i indulged in it.
Part 2 is in the make and the trailer hints lots of fireflies need to be offed by you. I'm looking forward to it! But as always with sequels not sure i should get my hopes up :p You? Don't need to tell you what im talking about, right?!

hmmmm....stink bugs are invasive and kill plants....sounds like some people I know of.....Should they be killed also?

    I don't mind bugs......They are pretty amazing.

I am just glad they are not my size, as i doubt they would be as compassionate to me as I am to them.

Depends on what plants they kill and on which grounds they are being invasive :p

Some plants are more equal than others!

There you go! I make friends with any little residents here...... I put the big spiders that live in the basement outside though, as i cannot be sure if they are poisonous or not...and usually they are not. They are the big wood spiders, but since I am not an expert on every one of them...I don't like to take any chances with the cats who go down there.

Anyway. my little stink bug is a very friendly friend....lol
