The first time I heard the Jefferson Airplane, I was 12 years old. It was After Bathing at Baxter's, I cant count how many times I have played that album. for the most part, I enjoyed all their other albums to the same extent. The lyrics of these songs really express how I feel about a lot of things. Also check out, Windows of Heaven by Jefferson Starship, it really rocks. What is my favorite all time song though? It would have to be Revolution Number Nine by the Beatles it is in a genera all of itself.

Too be honest, I only listen to music I cut my teeth on, plus anything produced later that sounds like music I cut my teeth on.

What's left of the dead, gov't mule, derek trucks, DBT's, vintage amps cranked

For fun I still play in a geezer rock band (homebymidnight.com)

    Beggars Banquet - Rolling Stones

Let it bleed .... if I don't get some shelter soon I'm gonna fade away
Merry Clayton is fantastic on that song.
Just made it before the 60's ended.

I bought the album Janis Joplin Cheap thrills on a Christmas eve. I spent that Christmas eve alone listening to Janis. I still love Cheap Thrills.
