I really don't think that makes a difference. Like I said, I use several browsers and different devices, they can't all be to blame. It seems to happen every 4th thread or page I go to. Maybe you're not going to different threads? If you stay in the same thread or even two or three it works fine. Or maybe you use the browser's feature of saving passwords? I don't use that and shouldn't have to to stay logged in.

If you clear your cookies, you will have to log in again. That's where the stayed log in info is kept. But most people don't clear cookies all the time. In my case, I have a whitelist of cookies not to clear, for those sites that have the stay logged in feature, so mine stays intact even when I clear cookies.

its much less likely to be the forums fault so complaining here about it is kind of useless

I found that too, but I see separators have been put in now. Maybe make them thicker though? They used to be more of a bar (dark purple, I think) than a thin line.

 

I knew what you were saying. I was disagreeing. I don't think it's a browser problem. How can so many browsers be at fault? And why only on this website? And why only every 4 threads or so? And I've checked everything I know to check in my browsers and there's nothing to change that I can see.

your device hasnt a saved password option. ive no problem with the lappytop/tablet.. however my phone have to sign in almost every time.. but not always.

 

I don't have to type in my password. It's saved right in the password spot just like always. I never had a problem on either device until the new forum.

With "Windows XP"........Perhaps All Of You Should Have Done The Same.

Stick With The "Tried And True" And Avoid All The "Bells And Whistles".....

XP is the finest windows operating system on the planet. In it's embedded form, it is still used to run systems such as the London tube, Ambulance and police networks, NASA and almost every other major service including flying the A380 airbus. Google Chrome can not update to its latest version on XP, so unfortunately you will miss out on the latest versions of their spyware. What a shame.!!!!! LMAO.

No pleasing some people...

 

I'm trying to change my avatar with no success. Are there certain criteria that have to be met regarding size etc? When I choose a file from my own stock there is no indication that anything is wrong but unfortunately nothing happens. There is a wee thing happening in the top right that gives the indication that the upload is in progress but it just keeps moving and ........nothing.
Any advice or help?

 

Oh yeah I meant to bring up the avatar thing the other day, that answers that
