Unfortunately if you have a lot of wax in your ear it comes out where the earring goes in.
I had the same issue.
I now don't have earrings in my ears.

 

They do get infected quite easily, however clean you are. I don't have any anymore partly because of it. Got annoying.

Come on man up !!! - Its only a little prick 2 - 3 times a year. FFor medical reasons, I have to have blood tests every week - have had that for the past ten years, and for the past five years, since I'm now diabetic, I have to test my blood several times daily.

Another added bonus, since you can't walk around with an empty arm you have a perfect excuse for putting it back by having a little (alcoholic) drink !!!

Yes Suzanne darlin' - I do. Not only because of the Diabetes, but some of my medication also doesn't mix too well with alcohol, but I still have my tiny tot of Brandy in my coffee some mornings. One of the medications I take is Warfarin which is an anti-coagulant

 

Yeah you have to be a bit careful with that one.
An umpiring mate has to take a tablet that makes him pee a lot more than what he used to.
So he has to dash off for a loo break every 30 minutes

 

Aha - I know that one too - called Tamsulosin capsules - one of my medications !!!
