Most horror's don't scare me, but the tension and just little build ups made me shit my self haha!:willy_nilly:

If you've watched it, what's your opinion?
If you haven't, watch it and let me know:p

I really liked it, it was very creepy.

im not a fan of movies that make you trun your head away because of how disgusting something is. This was a film that was just down rght creepy...

Their was also not much reason why the strangers were doing what they were doing...

I would like to see it again.

Yeah, their was something really dark and creepy about the whole film, and the best part was how they didn't even have to add any gruesomeness. It was as if the whole family was totally numb!

enjoy :) but be warned, its kind of semi-arthouse and spends a lot of time trying to make you feel guilty for enjoying it.

I think this movie was, maybe not actually based on, but inspired by the Keddie cabin murders in 1981 at a resort in Keddie, California. 4 people in one family were horribly killed with a hammer and at least one knife. The killers were in such a rage that they wrecked the entire living room area, including furniture with the hammer, and even stabbed the walls with a knife. 3 young children in the next room were found unharmed the morning after the killings. It remains unsolved to this day.

I hated this movie with a passion. I remember seeing it in theaters and there was a security guy in the theater checking IDs and making sure that we were all older than 17. Man, when i saw the movie, I was so disappointed! It was just nothing but false alarms. I actually considered leaving the theater. No joke...

That scene where one of the strangers came up behind Liv Tylers character, and then creeped away slowly and she had no idea anyone was even there, terrifies me.

The thought of someone hiding in my house while I am home and I have not the slightest idea, scares the daylights out of me.

It wasn't scary so much as it was tense? And a few jump scares, which I'm not a fan of.

I disliked this film because it was nothing but a bunch of false alarms and close calls. There was buildup but what came out of each buildup were nothing but duds. Someone had to die and of the death was poorly executed. I don't recommend this film in the least.
