I had seen this one because I am fan of Rachel. I love Rachel Mc Adam so much. About the story, I like this one better than A walk to remember. A walk to remember was sweet, and this one is very very sweet and serious love story. The one that I hate was the ending. I did cry.
I've seen it a few times....didn't think much of it at first, but it's grown on me. I liked the playful romance they had.
See I thought the notion of this film was absolutely beautiful and so heart-breaking. However, I don't think it was executed to my taste. I can't place what it is about it but it just didn't draw the emotions out of me that I expected. For me Brokeback Mountain put this film to shame in terms of how emotionally involved it got the viewer.
The Notebook is one of my favorites. What's ironic about it is that as many people there are that like the concept of a long-suffering love, there are so few actually willing to put their feet forward on the real path. No one wants any hardship in love or relationships and people aren't willing to bend or flex these days--they just want easy and convenient. But what they don't get is that it's the hardship that makes the love great. Without that difficulty, endurance, and perseverance, I don't think love can ever be anything more than mediocre.
I just watched it last night for the first time. I'm in the middle of a little romantically frustrating situation myself, and I couldn't help it. I cried.
It's one of the most beautiful films I've watched! I adore the scenes where he climbs up the wheel, and when they both lie on the road!
I've seen the Notebook and it made me cry!!! I never cry. His other movies made me cry too.... :bigcry:
The Notebook is a GREAT movie...I have watched it several times I watched "about last night" recently and it was AWESOME the original version
