Now that some of Trump's sexcapades are out of the box, Trump has added Emmet Flood to his legal team, the attorney who counseled Hillary about her email issue and Bill Clinton about his impeachment.

Trump can continue with his "Lock Her Up!" chant while her former attorney is defending him.

Mueller requests seventy blank subpoenas in the Eastern District of Virginia.
That would be for thirty five subpoenas as they are filed in duplicate. Mueller can add whatever names he wants before serving the subpoenas.
The Eastern District is Paul Manafort's home district.

The New York Times reports that Trump wants a reduction of forces in South Korea.
John Bolton calls it utter nonsense.

Trump just mentioned it today, offhand before boarding his helicopter. He said that he might want to do that to save money, but that would b something to decide later.

Trump Pledged To Take On The NRA; Now He's Speaking At Group's Annual Convention

Trump Pledged To Take On The NRA; Now He's Speaking At Group's Annual Convention

    excerpt:

"By showing a willingness to take positions that buck his party's line without following through, Trump is able to play up his independence without dealing with the consequences of actually enacting policy.

"When he does tough talk like, 'I'm not afraid of the NRA' ... it says more about his persona, his image and his core supporters love that," said Robert Denton, head of the department of communication at Virginia Tech.

But there are some risks to vacillating between various viewpoints.

"These inconsistent policy positions leave allies and foes alike unsure where he stands and uncertain about him keeping his word after they leave the negotiating table," said Brandon Rottinghaus, a political science professor at the University of Houston."

Japan's Aso says he would welcome U.S. taking fresh look at TPP

    excerpt:

"“If it’s true, I would welcome it,” he told reporters after a cabinet meeting.

Aso said he expected Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Trump to discuss the TPP at their summit meeting next week.

But he added that needed to verify facts carefully.

Trump “is a person who could change temperamentally, so he may say something different the next day”, he added."

North Kora is the entire 2020 platform for Trump and it will probably work. I think it ignores the social and economic climate of the region to just say Trump was the "alpha" and got things done.
For years the buzz has been that the people are not happy. Dictatorships rely on the dictator being god. It's possible that with two delusional idiots one figures out what nuclear war is. Between a second term and scorched earth I know what I pick.

Trump really is temperamental. 50% temper. 50% mental.

Well... what could go wrong? I mean, we're all friends now, right? Just by making shit up as he goes along and reacting to everything based on how it affects him personally, Trump will eventually achieve world peace.

Cut Rudy some slack. He's new to all of this.

Trump Is Now Saying Rudy Giuliani Was Wrong About the Payment to Stormy Daniels

Trump Is Now Saying Rudy Giuliani Was Wrong About the Payment to Stormy Daniels

    excerpt:

"Trump said Giuliani “is a great guy but he just started a day ago.” He said the former New York City mayor is “learning the subject matter.”

The president added that “virtually everything” reported about the payments were wrong. He did not elaborate.

Giuliani said this week that Trump knew about Cohen’s 2016 payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels and that Trump had repaid Cohen through monthly retainers.

Trump had previously denied knowing about the payments."

Amazingly, Trump's lies have become too much for even Fox new host Neil Cavuto, who, after reviewing some of Trump's whoppers, asked how Trump can complain about fake news when he makes so many false statements:
“Your base probably might not care,” Cavuto added. “But you should. I guess you’re too busy draining the swamp to ever stop and smell the stink you’re creating. That’s your doing. That’s your stink. Mr. President, that’s your swamp.”
An honest man. I wonder how long he'll last at Fox. Fox News Host Neil Cavuto Tells Trump He Stinks In Fiery Takedown

And now he's gone against Rudy Giuliani only one day after RG tried to use a trick to save his butt. People are saying Giuliani was trying to show Trump wasn't telling a fib about the money that went to Cohen...who claimed he took out a mortgage to pay Stormy!

When I saw that I immediately felt he's got a new lead...maybe from the Cohen files...maybe someone talked!

I thought Giuliani took down the mob in the 80's. He seems like a buffoon to me. I would not want him defending me in a court room. But I saw an interview with the only wise guy he could not convict and he had lots of respect for him.

Trump took credit for the stock market all last year. Similar to North Korea, he did nothing to affect it, and it might crash and burn later. The stock market hasn't done anything since the beginning of the year. In both cases Trump's contribution was around none.

North Korea shut down one nuclear test site which was no longer safe to operate. They already have ICBM's, so saying they're stopping testing wasn't a technical problem for their nuclear program. We've stopped testing our nuclear weapons testing too. North Korea could likely hit us with an if they wanted to. We may have a system which maybe could maybe intercept it.

If North Korea fires a nuclear missile at the U.S., how could it be stopped?

I think he is correcting prior mistakes. (1) he is attempting to make the payment to Cohen a reimbursement and a part of regular retainers (2) he is trying to say it was not campaign money (3) by doing all that it puts the problem on Cohen's desk, because Cohen said he took out the mortgage to pay Stormy.

Trump seems to know that the average Republican Joe Sixpack has an attention span of ten minutes. So, he knows they'll forget everything he says most of the time as long as he insults Mexicans and other minorities.
