President Jimmy Carter calls Trump's pick of John Bolton “one of the worst mistakes” he's made as president.
Carter has traveled to North Korea and met with its leaders in the past.

Trump is having trouble finding a lawyer...any lawyer.
The law firm Winston & Strawn turned down Trump on Monday, this follows the resignation of John Dowd, Trump's personal lawyer and the failure to procure the aid of lawyers Joseph diGenova, Victoria Toensing, Emmet Flood, Robert Giuffra Jr, Tom Buchanan, Dan Webb, and Ted Olson.

The biggest problem for Trump's border wall isn't money. It's getting the land.
Eminent domain fights could take years.

Perspective | The biggest problem for Trump's border wall isn't money. It's getting the land.

"Trump, who has cast himself as a master dealmaker, will need to coordinate massive voluntary sales of property near the border or negotiate easements for large swaths of land to make way for the wall construction. This is no small feat. Only about one-third of the land the wall would sit on is owned by the federal government or by Native American tribes, according to the Government Accountability Office. And much of that territory is already fenced. The rest of the border is controlled by states and private property owners. Estimating the costs of negotiated sales of all the territory at stake is difficult ahead of time, because the fragmentation raises questions about market value, particularly for land in the limbo zone south of the planned wall but north of the border.

Costs aside, resistance is building. Landowners, Native American tribes, and Republican and Democratic lawmakers are on record opposing the wall. What happens if this resistance turns into outright refusal to sell land? Trump’s only option at that point would be eminent domain — which could prove to be even harder than cutting individual deals."

"As it happens, the president has plenty of experience attempting to seize land on the East Coast. He does not hide his enthusiasm for taking businesses and homes for his own business interests. In the mid-1990s, Vera Coking, owner of a house just off the boardwalk in Atlantic City, was subject to Trump’s wrath when he tried to persuade the local authorities to condemn her property so he could construct a parking lot for the 22-story Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino he had built right next door. He turned to the government-established Casino Reinvestment Development Authority after Coking refused to sell. Trump lost that battle in Casino Reinvestment Development Authority v. Banin. In 1994, Trump threatened to condemn five businesses in Bridgeport, Conn., to make way for an office and entertainment complex and, as he did in Atlantic City, lobbied city officials to exercise eminent domain. It didn’t happen."

‘Hamilton’ Had Some Unscripted Lines for Pence. Trump Wasn’t Happy.

As the play ended, the actor who played Vice President Aaron Burr, Brandon Victor Dixon, acknowledged that Mr. Pence was in the audience, thanked him for attending and added, “We hope you will hear us out.”

“We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” he said. “We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.”

Pence scrambles to exit one event after another every time an incident happens that violates a Trump culture-war talking point.

He did all that and kept the peace with global stability. Trump's global instability could cause hundreds of millions to die. The American white supremacists must desire such an outcome, otherwise they would not present us with such zealous support for Trump.

Trump was funded by Sheldon Mendelson at a very early age. Most of Trumps hotel and casino ventures have been failures.

You can take ANTIFA off too. They formed after Trump was elected. They have nothing to do with Obama. You Republicans always throw stuff out there in public to make Obama look bad. Obama has no culpability in that one at all. You must listen to Sean Hannity tapes during your sleep.

Trump made the Supreme Court more conservative with his appointment of Gorsuch and yet he is calling upon Congress for a line-item veto that would require a liberal interpretation to overturn a previous SC decision that ruled the line-item veto to be unconstitutional.

Trump wasn't aware of the SC decision, similar to how he wasn't even aware that Putin had already annexed Crimea.

This is the Trump who is supposedly ahead of everyone. Journalists at press conferences would call him out on such gaffs. It's why he doesn't conduct press conferences.

Trump Announces Plan To Replace Food Stamps With New Low-Income Foraging Program

WASHINGTON—Championing the decision as a way to cut costs and still meet federally mandated nutrition requirements, President Trump announced a plan Tuesday to replace food stamps with a new low-income foraging program. “We have developed a new foraging-based plan that provides qualifying Americans with a small, reusable bag they can fill with whatever they are able to scavenge from alleys, empty lots, or nearby wooded areas,” said Trump, explaining that underprivileged participants in the program would search for food scraps anywhere they can find them, including the dumpsters behind restaurants.

Ted Olson had a few choice words to say about Trump today...just one week after refusing to work as Trump's lawyer...after John Dowd quit...after diGenova couldn't qualify....now Trump is lawyer-less and ripe for a Mueller reaming.

Or a shithole nation that was growing was the nightmare of some and the dreams of others.

ANTIFA has been around quite awhile.
    Earlier times to now.
The Communist Origins of the Antifa Extremist Group

    OBAMA knew about them:
Obama's Own DHS and FBI Knew About Antifa "Domestic Terror Violence"

No, it's not a terrorist group, but stop appeasing antifa

You maybe just didn't see them until Trump got into office? Or maybe it's you that has delusions in your sleep.

And I think if you actually care to have a dialog about racism in America maybe we should start a new thread. There is plenty of reasons racism has spread in this country. On BOTH SIDES!

The theoretical concept of private property is too deep for Republicans like Trump.

Republicans are too narrow minded to understand international relations.
