Just tell her what you appreciate about her -- her smile, the way she smiles, her taste in clothes -- and she'll get the message. If she responds to that positively, you're there! An invitation "for more" should come easily and comfortably. So when you both agree that a certain cafe looks like a good place to go to, or a movie seems interesting, or that you'd both like to hike up a hill, just say "let's do it." The indirect approach is always best. And one last thing: women are attracted to confident men who don't fear rejection. Put it in your mindset that you won't mind at all if she says no (and when you think about it, why would you ever want to date a girl who isn't right for you!) and you'll actually present yourself in a better light. have your friend break into her apartment and install recording devices on all the phones, then have him hide out in the bathroom closet and listen for telltale flushes. meanwhile, you should be waiting in a van out front, so the instant her flatmate comes outside you can pull a sack over her head and throw her in the back of the van. once you have her back at your hideout, use jumper cables on her nipples until she's willing to talk.
Make her see how cool you are wait for compliments etc then see if she wants to hang out. if this fails and you still want some loving just tell her straight up and hope for the best, the worst that will happen is she'll say no and you might be a bit embarrassed from time to time... the benefit is well worth the risk.
