Maybe it is different elsewhere, but 'negro' doesn't really have the same baggage as the other word.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with saying Negro Terror. Honestly I think vg is desperate for things to be excited about. Nothing's going anywhere, though.

Doesn't matter: if some people named their band like that, any other person can and may mention that band by their actual bandname. That only or predominantly white people shouldn't mention a bandname because the words negro and terror are in it is preposterous. It would only be worth considering if it was a discriminating band (like ment to hurt, offend or provoke the group targeted in the name), but even then I would conclude it's an unfortunate choice of the band members but any person can and may call the band by the actual name.

 

No one wants to call themselves ****** Terror.

I would be. Everything these days is neatly packaged. Everybody just wants to be the next big thing. They do the whole self promotion thing and follow all the rules to get there. Only a terrorist cell would call themselves ****** Terror.

 

Nobody had any problems with the band name "Cracker" so I'm confused...

So, I have the Orange OTR amp on the bench... Going to surgically remove that effects loop somebody installed. Try to get it back to stock configuration.

Found several high res photos of the stock chassis and some schematics on the net. Shouldn't be too difficult... Right?

Going to try to save the effects loop for another amp though and have no specs for it... We'll see how it goes.
