You might want to do a double (or triple) check on how "uninhabited" it is.

Besides poisonous snakes, giant man-eating coconut crabs, or Gilligan, there could actually be an owner you weren't told about.

/Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention headhunters, cannibals, giant spiders, aaand dinosaurs.

Every bit of land is owned by someone... Likely you would be charged with trespassing if not shot on sight.

Seriously, make sure you have a way to call for someone to come get you out of there, when you cannot take it anymore, though..... :D

Of course, I don't know you or who you are or if this is a serious thread or not.

I am very serious and am trained in survival I also have done my research on the island and it is owned by a country like all islands but not all are ministered especially atolls wich are raised coral beds which over time have formed islands and it is uninhabited for the reason of not a very good fresh water source but with a solar still or even copper still you can turn saltwater into fresh water and as for sharks caiman and all those that could kill you I see food

I still say it would be considered trespassing... Now if you got written legal permission from said country, that would be a different story.

I thought my reply to make sure he has a way to contact the outside world was pretty serious and good advice......

Who needs contact with the outside world? People have lived on islands and in other isolated areas for thousands of years without much contact with outsiders. I think it is a cool idea. There are many such islands that you could move to. I would not build anything too permanent since you may get booted out by the government and the island may get sold or developed. Most countries in the world have large numbers of squatters so a few people living on a remote island would probably not bother them too much and booting you off would probably cost many countries more than they could afford since you could then just find another similar island in the area to move to. Best of luck!

^He may start to go mad from loneliness if he is alone.....
just a precaution, in case he does not like it and then how will he get back ? Will he build his own boat?
    Possible, I suppose....:)

also, many islands have natives and head hunters....LOL
