lol... I completely understand, ladybrunette.

A few things I've surprised my husband with that he still mentions are:

* A candlelit dinner. I asked him what he would most love to have for a special "just us" meal & made it all from scratch for him - with a few surprises, like chocolate-raspberry brownies for dessert. We ate by candlelight, in my parents' pergola.

* A "kidnapping." I picked him up after work one day & took him down to the river for a special dinner-by-starlight.

* His favorite goodies. I took a box, decorated it to look like a "survival kit" & filled it with a package of his favorite crackers, some microwave popcorn, a 6-pack of his favorite soda, and two of his favorite baked goodies.

* and a Coupon book. I'm sure you've heard dozens of versions of this one but I made coupons for things like "one night out with the guys, no questions asked" and "one forgiven forgotten anniversary or other odd semi-holiday" and "one trip to whatever movie YOU want to watch, with no complaining or yeah-buts."

I love the coupon book idea, I saw one that you could buy in the store but I thought it'd be sweeter to make one on my comp and some of them would be sweet things like the movie thing and than just to be silly maybe do some sex stuff (the guys in this forum would support that idea) those are great ideas though you got my mind thinking...

well what does he like. ask him . he may have some thing he would like.

me im th hardest person to shop for. i buy most of my stuff and so on. they ask and i suggest. or say your parents want to know so they can get him stuff.

 

from reading this i have a few good ideas....

all my partner wants is money for his car i like treating him to small things that a male needs hehe!!

my plans.... for mine isssss put some money in a few boxes hide them in his room and dooo little paper guesses.. then later on give him a xmas surprise hehe!!

ideas for you could be yesss a xmas meal candle lit.... maybe a walk in the evening i know its cold in december but how about a walk then a picnic... coupons sounds good too!!

 

ooooo how about day activites like a day out to ride his dream car...
