Opinions of Prague

Hey, people, I'm hoping to go to Prague this summer with some of my friends and your tips helped me a lot, but could some of you recommend good jazz or rock clubs, so that I could try some of that cheap beer you were talking about with some good music in the background?..

 

heya Sanja, great to hear so the first you might want to see would be probably The Lennon's Wall http://www.travellerspoint.com/photo...22/tags/music/ that is situated very close to the charles bridge in a location called Kampa. perhaps anyone there you ask will help you find it.
and how about the rock & jazz clubs... perfect jazz club is probably Reduta very close to Wenceslav's Square.. http://www.redutajazzclub.cz/ (btw, in this club, Mr. Keith Richards, guitarist from the rolling stones once lost his skull ring when he was drunk.. then he got back and found it ) and how about rock clubs... ehm... there are two very good... first one is called Vagon http://www.vagon.cz/indexV.html that is situated on Narodni street (this street lies under the venceslav's square) and right on the opposite side from Vagon is another one called Rock Cafe http://www.rockcafe.cz/index.php which is more expensive but still cool. And then if you wanted to visit something "reggae" you might want to go to the Cross Club http://www.crossclub.cz/ which is very close to subway station "Nadrazi Holesovice"... Once again, Jana, thanks a lot, I came back from Prague full of wonderful impressions, everything was so perfect, beer was great and we've seen so many impressive things!..
Unfortunately, my friends didn't wanna go to Reduta with me, and one night when I made them do this for me, we got there late (around midnight, I told you that here in Serbia people go out very late), so the show was over and we just went to one of those pubs in Karlova street....
But thank you for your advices, I definitely had the best time there!...

Oh, it was very cold when I was there, we thought it would be hot and so we carried light clothes and we were freezing for most of the time, but we didn't mind that......

Well, drastic changes are always scary when you first confront with them, you only need a bit of an adjusting period...
I was in Czech republic during the period from 15th until 20th of July, you might remember it, it was very cold everywhere.....I think we hit 5 coldest days in July...

 

ah, yeah, I see. These days it was very cold. I thought you were here around 25th as you wrote it

 

We didn't mind the cold, we just had a problem with the fact that none of our skirts couldn't be worn.....
