went to visit an old friend recently and i didn't really like him anymore.

i feel a little on the fence about him.

its always too different if i haven't seen my friends in a while. its just not the same anymore. and it sucks.

a lot of these people dont seem to like me very much anyway though. my friend told me he did like me and my opinion was valuable to him and all this stuff and it made me feel a little better at the time. but i don't see what he's saying in the stuff that he does.

so i guess i've come to the conclusion that things are never the same and can't really ever be the same if you try to reunite friendships because people change too much.

Friendships never die, they go through stages. Sometimes a stage is the seeming absence of a friend. You yourself do not stay the same. You begin as an infant and go through stages of growth.

I find that Time is always a factor in these matters.
Recalling memories though at the time their importance so meaningful, can be misleading for time moves on, and waits for no man - Wheels turn.
Together we have similarities that draw us together - apart we have different focus, and have goals that are particular to our taste and ambition.
I have always thought however, that a good friend is separated for being an associate of convenience by their arrival at a time in need.
The test of Old friend is not always as evident as it may seem iThinks – Still here’s hoping
