So you know, this has absolutely no point other than to express my happiness over two nudism opportunities I've had this past week!

    a) My dear best friend, AJ, and I, were walking on the popular trails that surround a lake in town and go all through the city, when we spotted a small opening in the bush between the trail and the lake. So we wandered through it, curious, and discovered this big, empty beach-type of mass, only with mud EVERYWHERE instead of sand! So after a few minutes of wading in it and playing in it, of course the urge to get naked followed. So I stripped down and she stripped partly, and we ended up covering ourselves in mud (this is NOT sexual!) and continuing to play in it and pretend to be tribeswomen. Only two people that I know of saw us, and they just kind of laughed and walked on. It was so much fun! Mud is intense.

    b) I was at the same friend's house one afternoon, because her parents were out of town and we decided to mural these big pieces of plywood for her dad to put on their fence when he got back. I decided that painting, in the yard, especially on a beautiful day, was yet another good occasion for nudity. I don't like the whole restriction by clothing thing when I'm trying to be creative. After a bit of encouragement, she removed her clothes as well and we spent 2 hours painting. I have to say, that's honestly a beautiful experience, to feel so free and pure. Definitely recommended.

I actually did that at first, but then remembered it was supposed to go on the fence and her parents are sort of strict Jehovah's Witnesses and I didn't think they'd really appreciate that kind of art :( :p

I really dig getting in the mudbath at Confest
I have never had that floating feeling before, some bloke said that way I floated was like a crocodile. Once in the mudbath I was in with these three female solicitors from Melbourne. Once of them had a a really nice pair on her chest but I did not tell her so. We talked about then film The Remains of the Day to a deep and meaningful level.

That's an absolutely outrageous photograph. I wish that I could have been a muddy body there.

How can I get in touch with the Confest people?

If you are in New Jersey then it is the other side of the world from you. Maybe you could suggest it for a Burning Man festival? (Nevada is a bit closer than Australia).

Thanks. I checked out the Burning Man, but didn't see any mud pits. Did I miss something?

I wrote that you should suggest it. Come to think of it you could suggest it to a Rainbow festival? The only reason it happens at Confest is that someone had an idea for it.They probably picked the idea from traavelling in Thailand where mudbaths are quite common.

I had a ball of a time at ConFest playing around in the mud bath. ;-)

In fact, I featured in a mockumentary that Peter Gleeson was making on the mud tribe - it was so much fun making right tits of ourselves freaking out the people in the market stalls, and scaring the kiddies. :p

    I'd certainly do it agin.
