i was just looking for a places to discuss this and maybe get info around the net. about 4 months ago, i was climbing over a metal fence but i accidentally lost my grip while i was at the top and the way i landed on it about all of the impact was centered right on my clit. (yes it HURT) after the pain went away i noticed there wasn't any sensation in it, but i figured i just needed to give it a bit of time to heal and return to her old self. well, the sensation never started coming back to i went in to have it looked at. the doctors told me that the impact has caused irreversible physical nerve damage around the base of it. (the last thing i wanted to hear) so now here i am still with complete numbness, and i don't know what to do! there's not even a hint of sensation in it anymore. even if i give it a hard pinch i feel zero pain. (pinching it in a way that would definitely hurt normally for sure) it literally just feels like i have no clitoris. this is really distressing because before i would get myself to have 2 to 4 very strong orgasms daily, so this loss is very difficult for me to deal with. suddenly i'm never able to ever have one again? i don't know what to do. has anybody else ever been in this kind of situation before?
seek a second opinion. some nerve damage can be repaired to an extent. i too am sorry for your loss. maybe try to find a sex health type of specialist, they may care more about your sexual sensation than a regular doctor, and they will likely have better information about sexual nerves
damaged to the base of the clitoris? which base is he referring to? the base that is outwardly visible? or the base as in the crus of the clitoris? i do believe that if you damage the visible part, with time, you may regain some sensation because sensory neuron do repair themselves(very slow process).
Did you try the G-spot? It's the same organ, just different areas. Bummer, anyway, and definitely seek other opinions.
Jesus Christ, ouch! First of all, while it's a sucky situation, I'm glad you're mostly okay. I agree that you should seek a second opinion, and if you get the same answer, don't give up. People who don't have any feeling down below sometimes find other spots that make them orgasm. It's fairly common.
ouch. i am sorry. that seems very painful. i've had to deal with surgeries "down there," and even though i am a guy, i've had problem with sensation, etc. i would definitely seek a second opinion, someone who is experienced in sexual health. they might be able to perform a surgical "clitoral release" to free up the clit so whatever sensation there is remaining (if there is some) you would be able to still enjoy it. also, talking to a psychologist during this time might be helpful as well. sex is an important part of a healthy life, and not being able to orgasm certainly has psychological impacts as well. good luck to you.
Jess2112, First, let me say how terribly sorry I am about your situation, & the impact it's had on your life! I hope you've heaIed, & are once again able to enjoy every aspect of your sexuality, pain-free! I too have had an accident that's left me w/absolutely ZERO sensation in my clitoris. I'm homebound & was recently discharged from hospice care. I fell, & landed w/the heel of my foot slamming directly into my clitoris. What's more, I was unconscious for appx. 5 hours (+/-), w/blood flow to the area cut off the entire time. I'm currently w/out means of transportation, & have a myriad of other health problems. This was one of the few pleasures left - so obviously, it's having an extremely negative effect on me in general. I have a few questions for you, if you don't mind my asking... 1) How long after your accident did you wait to seek medical attention? - 2) I see that it's been years since your post... has the sensation returned, & if so, what did you have to do to get it back? I'm WELL AWARE that I have to seek medical attention; but as other, VERY serious health issues take precedence, (SLE, Celiac Disease, Sjogren's Syndrome) I'm going to have to fit this issue in where I can. If there are any other readers that've had similar experiences, I'd very much appreciate if you could share your honest (& non-sarcastic, please!) medical diagnosis, as well as the outcome. Thanks VERY much in advance for your kind assistance... Good health, blessings & healing to everyone!
