I've known her forever and she's always been into not wearing shoes, I myself tried to adapt to it...not to be a full fledged barefooter but to see how long I could go without shoes or socks and if my feet could hold up. I could never committ myself to the lifestyle. Either my feet were too weak, they never adapted...whatever the case may be I gave up. The other day we were watching a movie together on the couch. I got a beer and sat back down. For some reason I got it in my head that it was a twist off. I fumbled with it, tried to twist it off but to no avail, then I tried to do it covering my palm with my shirt because it was starting to hurt, I even tried to jokingly bite it...I was really mad at this bottle! Finally I left to find a bottle opener, couldn't find it. Kept fumbling with it. She then decides to have pity and extends her right foot out, grabs the top of the bottle and proceeds to twist it off. Incredible! I couldn't even do it with my hands without getting my palm scratched and irritated. She did it the first time gripping the top of the bottle between her toes and the top of her sole. now that's impressive, one of the perks of developing your feet like that.
Right on, what a great story. I have some toe/foot talents but nothing as impressive as that. Kiljoy please posts some pictures of you friends wonderful feet.
