An upcoming dystopian movie Mortal Engines is to be released in US at December 14th 2018.

Synopsis : Set in a world many thousands of years in the future. Earth’s cities now roam the globe on huge wheels, devouring each other in a struggle for ever diminishing resources. On one of these massive Traction Cities, Tom Natsworthy has an unexpected encounter with a mysterious young woman from the Outlands who will change the course of his life forever.

    Director : Christian Rivers

Screenplay : Philippa Boyens, Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh.

Starring : Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Hugo Weaving, Ronan Raftery, Stephen Lang.

The movie's based on a YA dystopian novel with the same title by Philip Reeve.

Are you interested in watching another dystopian movie adaptations after The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Maze Runner? I think the craze have die down lately.

If it's a good movie it doesn't matter the setting.

I liked "Hunger Games", "Divergent", and "Maze Runner". I watch lots of movies too. The hunger games I had to watch twice before I realized I liked them. Same with divergent. maze runner I liked the first time; the sequel slightly less. All and all exciting movies though! Mortal Engines. Do you think it will be like Mad Max Fury Road? I didn't care for that one. Maybe I just need to watch it again before it'll sink in..

I love Dystopian Novels, and i know enough to never compare books and their movies adaptation because it will never be comparable. With Mad Max i think it is based on a video game ? I don't really know video games but Mad Max is really a high quality adptation.

I like dystopian movies but I haven't gone out to the movies for awhile now, so I doubt I'll see it in theaters.

I'm with you on that one, I didn't really get the hype.

I don't know if the game came before or after the movie, but there is a game! :)
