Of course you should have more than passing knowledge of Wolverine.
I’ve always loved him. It was really difficult to see him like that, but it was really well done.
I still cry thinking about it.

Well it was certainly better than most comic book movies, but it left me with an unsatisfied feeling at the end.
I loved these characters and wanted something like a bigger exit for them.

I was looking forward to seeing it, - but - upon doing so felt it disappointing.
Other films of such Marvel/DC genre ilk, finished with a degree of optimism and thoughts of what was next coming up in the franchise, but found myself somewhat let down/deflated.
It seemed to me, a film of conclusion which (as well as not sticking to comic book) story-line) had me not wanting to see it again

I liked it when I first saw it at the movies, Jackmans last stint as Wolverine, the ending was a bit of a tear jerker

But its been a year and I havent watched it since. The main storyline is kind of dull, a young mutant has the same kind of powers as Wolverine, and they have to protect her - and thats about it

In the same time frame, I have watched Deadpool about 4 times

I thought Deadpool was meh. Just another action movie with lots of one liners.
Logan’s struggles, both physical and psychological were very compelling. Not to over look professer X losing his mind to old age!! That’s a great story alone.

Logan was good but it still didn’t reach the level of X-Men Origins: Wolverine which is the benchmark

Remember we're dealing with PR here if 99% of the audience loved the movie he would be the 1% that didn't

I like that movie, dont know what everyone else is on about. Liev Schrieber made for a particularly engaging villian

How the story of his name got revealed in Wolverine really got to me. Great stuff. Definitely above average for a comic book movie adaption. I generally shit on super heroes and american comic books anyway, but Wolverine is just too cool.

Lol He even got the beard atm :-D

My personal favorite X-men movie was Days Of Future Past. It had Sentinels.

Logan was OK, but not amazing.

I do wish that Marvel would've made a bit more X-men movies that weren't entirely centered around Wolverine. I get that Wolverine is a fan favorite, and the most popular character in the X-men. He's the bad boy who doesn't give a fuck, but winds up doing good in the name of humanity.

It would've been nice if they'd done more X-men stories based on Gambit, Cyclops, Storm, and others.

I like superhero movies when they get them right.

Magneto is my second fav X-men character. But as I understand he also gets the most attention after Wolverine? Righteous!

First Class is my favourite, because its basically the Magneto Origin story

I like Hugh Jackman, but the character Wolverine is kind of boring

Count me in for Magneto being a favourite X men character
