    I read the book when I was a kid back in 1987 and it scared the crap out of me,

    The novel was released in1986 but in hardcover, and If I remember correctly back then I always waited for the paperback edition
    to be released which was small enough to carry around in my backpocket, and cheap enough so I could afford it

    Anyone remember the 1990 version? It really sucked...

    Haven't seen this remake though, although it's not really a remake because it's based on a book. The 1990 film is putting me off though.

    It was after all a Made-for-TV-movie although Tim Curry who played Pennywise the Clown did an excellent job

    Yeah it sucked which is why I've no interest in seeing this one. If I wanna spend my time looking at clowns I'll go visit the mchappy land and sit on Ronalds statue. :d
