Frites too? That's not living! Might also be the time of consumption! Just before bedtime greatly increases the chance of belly aches
I also find a lack of sleep to greatly increase the chance of upset tummy. It's like, food digests better when you're asleep.
i'm too damd old for a lot of things humans seem to think are some kind of big deal. the kind of world we all have to live in is the biggest deal that has anything to do with us. other then that, how we make it so, and then the things that interest us each individually. the rest of whatever people want to tell themselves, yup, i'm way too old to have any interest in the hassle of it.
I find an upset tummy greatly increases the chance of a lack of sleep No buckets of peanuts or meat sandwiches before bedtime for me! Learned the hard way
i always thought that you don't eat late because your body will not fully fall asleep if the stomach has to work to digest a bunch of burger king crap?........
I get full on nauseated all day if I have less than 4-5 hours of sleep. Feels like a hangover type tummy ache.
You might want to get the opinion of an acupuncturist prior to the surgery, but it sounds like surgery will most likely be necessary. Acupuncture might be helpful with any post-operative pain. I wish there was better news about Terence
Roofing. I kicked it 'till I was 68-70, but now? Since I had to stop---I can tell that my balance is not the same. Too old for another mate, I guess---if they are my age----they look as bad as me!! (actually, I never judged by looks much. Personality was more important.)
I did not realize that we must be roughly the same age. Yourself, Glen and I could boogie at Mel Brooks over 70s disco on our zimmer frames. (from his film Silent Movie)
The illustrious year of 1939 here. 000000- it seems so long ago. Why just a few years ago I was riding my bike around town in the summer with my trusty Daisy.
i always thought that the "don't eat before bed" thing was a myth that's based on nothing, like not eating before you swim. your explanation does kind of make sense, but then eating makes a lot of people sleepy too.
i'm too lazy to ask dr google....there is likely a real answer out there.....sometimes....lots of times i go to sleep high on edibles and i will wake up with the munchies at 4am and need a cookie or something
what really confuses me is if i do eat a lot before bed, about 20% of the time i wake up feeling bloated, and the other 80% i wake up absolutely starving. which never happens under any other circumstances. i'm also too lazy for google, so it will remain a mystery at least for now.
I have to eat before bed, it helps me sleep. Having a fur muffin before bed (or a bald fur muffin) lets me sleep with a happy face.
