If you could have one date with one historical figure, who would it be?

    Mine too!

Amelia was sexy AF. Though, if we traveled anywhere, I'd make sure we took a commercial flight...

Its much the same as with my fav artists. I don't care for a date with a person because i enjoy their work a lot/find their mark on history intriguing. I might get disappointed :p

I would have to go with Grace Slick. Of Jefferson Airplane. I was in my early teens, when they appeared on network tv. I had my first wetdream that night.

You can take the Bostonian out of Boston but you can't take Boston out of the Bostonian...

Aww! That’s really sweet. Even if it’s against the “rules.” ;)

Well, she is part of your history so....

Carl Jung I suppose. Not sure whether he was charming but I admire his work. And perhaps Alan Watts or Chögyam Trungpa to remain in style.

    yeah. I...

I don't know if I'll ever really have the heart to go back out there and try again. it was pretty bad last time I said 'you know, I'll try looking about a bit, no harm in that.' and despite it having been more than a year since the relationship went, and nearly a year since she stopped even being my friend (that's what makes it so hard. losing a relationship. alright, fine.. but losing my best friend in the world without even a reason why except 'you've held me up for so long, now I need to do it without you.'... well, that's what made me feel like part of me died) well.. even looking about, all I could think was 'yeah, ok but they're not /her/.'

she understood me and loved me more than anyone else in the world, and then one day... she just didn't anymore. it's not like we fought constantly (actually we took pains to work things out, but we still had spats) or anything. but it was just like a switch.. one day she loved me so much, the next.. strangers. and the logical part of me goes 'it's not really her, it's her mental illness and emotional issues.' but.. as time goes on, I find myself believing that less and less. I'm still right here. I'm not that hard to find.. and I just try telling myself that if she really wanted to talk to me, she knows how.

sorry.. I've drifted off topic. I just.. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have a dinner date with.
