Amsterdam. I live in UK and have been to Amsterdam 20+ times but would like to be there right now. Two reasons - it is very flat and compact, great if you like walking and secondly (way more importantly) cos I not smoked for like 2 years or so! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:devil:

 

I travelled when I was younger and came to the conclusion that which bit of the planet you are on is a really insignificant thing. It's only where you are in your head that matters. You learn 50 times more about a place from staying in bed and reading a book about it than from going there and gawking at the tourist traps and saying "oooh". Take a place at random, it does'nt matter where, and settle down in it. Wanna see the wonders of the world? Google image search.

 

^ i understand what you're saying & its definitely true, however, I do feel that certain people fit in certain areas. a person who likes a certain way of life may want a place like NY Manhattan or another major City. Or if one liked beaches & islands, than maybe Hawaii.

I do agree, but sometimes being out of place in where you live can make life a little more stressful. I personally like a more chill vibe. I fucking hate DC/MD/VA. living here sucks the soul out of you. traffic, cameras, NSA, CIA, FBI, Politics, i prefer a place like Toronto, Canada.

But ultimately it is truly all in your head and your perception.

Anywhere in the Marshall Islands, preferably Arno Atoll. Actually, I'd be pretty much fine with any island.

Why? Tonga to swim with humpback whales. Vanuatu to see Mt. Yasur erupting. I've been to these places already, but I keep wanting to go back.
