    I have a dog and two cats. All three cost me a small fortune: food, vet bills, flea medications and licenses. They lounge around my house all day while I'm at work, beg for food and demand constant attention. Give me a pet that's self sufficient.

    Our cats plow through their food fast. The dog is a pretty heavy feeder too--plus, I feed him from my plate. What hits me the hardest are the vet bills...$50.00 just for the office visit. I love my pets, but I'm seriously considering going petless when these are gone.

    i love all of my pets but i seriously wouldn't of gotten as many as i did.. so expensive, and like you said the vet visit..
