It seems like every time I achieve a new goal, such as a new job in a competitive field I’m trained for, or a new found lover. These new chapters in my life come to an abrupt halt, and I’m forced to go back to where I started. I’ve been dealing with this for years now. I think it’s a curse.
I can fix this. It just will take a head from a chicken, an eye from a goat, a wing from a pigeon, a neck from a crow, a nipple from a possum, a tail from a rat and a little bitty drink of Faygo!
For sure. I brought it up right here in this thread: Laid off This was the recent event, but there've been an accumulation of other events like this, such as short relationships that ended abruptly just as we were getting to the good parts.
You're not cursed...the pendulum just swung one way too far, and while that sucks, it will swing in the opposite direction soon enough. I promise. Just stay strong brah. You'll be fine.
