So my b/f was at my house tonight but he was tired so he decided to go home. Before he went home I messed around with him and gave him a hard time. He got into his car, which is precious to him he spends a lot of money on it and races it and he's very talented. He's a mile from his house which is 30 min from my house, he falls asleep behind the wheel and hits a tree. He's fine but we both agreed that it's my fault for not letting him go out. How am I going to get him to forgive me for ruining his car I've been crying all night and he straight up said "if you had let me leave when I wanted this would have never happend" I hate myself right now what do I do?

Not your fault. No way. And it's cruel of him to say it.

You didn't tie him up and force him to stay. That's shitty of him to blame you, he has free will. He could've left at any time, but he chose to stay. Don't feel bad for something that's entirely not your fault.

Seriously. He shouldn't be driving if he doesn't know about rolling the windows down and blasting the radio to stay awake, or about that all so convenient pulling over before closing one's eyes...

    he's a fool
you'd better worry about his attitude rather than a car which is only one of the million material possessions that come and go..

He should assume responsibility for what he does. That is none of your fault.

Its pretty much a dick move to blame that on anyone.

I got in an accident in high school, two lane road, me going one way and batshit lady going the other. She runs over the yellow line and then head on collision with me.

She hops out blaming that I "could've avoided it by running into the ditch." I had truck loaded with hay, and a horsetrailer (empty, thank god) behind. Cops saw it my way and yours truly got a nice check from the lady, not her insurance company.

Why didnt he just sleep over?

Part of getting your drivers license is being responsible for knowing when to drive and when not to. You're not his mother, it's his own damn fault.
