My thought is how much MONEY did they spend to do this useless study and why in the hell does it even matter? The Republicans are cutting funding for the poor and elderly, I am disabled and have not got a cost of living raise on my social security check for like 3 years now and the government can waste money of this? I think the priorities are mixed up, this study is a waste of money that could be feeding the homeless and housing disabled and elderly but of course we all want to know that the chimpanzee has a spine in its penis and we humans do not. God, does that mean a chimp can become paralyzed of its penis...?

Its subtle disinformation. Chimps don't really have spines on their penises (especially female ones), they're just trying to put us off copulating with chimps. They want to keep chimp sex as a private thing for senior politicians only ;)
