Open question,,,, Where do you want to be and what do you want to do ? There is a lot of seasonal work around the state. Beginning around the middle of April through the middle of September. ...........................................Alaskan.........Dennis...........
I find there being more jobs around here year round then any where I have ever lived, Although most jobs are in Anchorage there are quite a few in the other bouroughs. There is always a fishery or pipe line job, and as far as local jobs there are a plenty you can find em on line or in the paper. Good Luck!
Glassdildo: Not true state wide. Glen Alen is a good example, a lot of Bible thumpers there. You have to leave the city limits to buy a beer. This a big state with a lot of differn't beliefs. .........................Alaskan...................
Alaska is the land of opportunity. Yes, it is easy for women to find work here as well as men. The Anchorage newspaper has online job listings as well as the State of Alaska on their website. Tourism industry is very seasonal. If you wish to go to Prudhoe Bay for construction or to go fishing, there is year round work. We have all of the big box stores, department stores etc, in Anchorage and Fairbanks. They are our largest towns and have the most job opportunities.
Good Day! I have a questions about job. I wish to find work for English studying. Is It real? Thank's to All...
anybody got any cool stories about how they arrived in Alaska? ferry, train, plane, hitchhiking? i hitched from Vermont to Seattle, Washington and my funds are severely limited. I've met some people that said they would get me a job through family members so I'm not exactly worried about the employment. i don't have a passport right now so that's kind of out. thanks for any advice or at least cool stories.
