    My wife and I went to a community corn boil on the beach last night. There was a good turnout, warm weather, and good corn. For context, this is a small rural fishing village with a population of maybe 300 at the most, so being accepted at community events is a small miracle. Here's to miracles!

    I had a visit from an internet friend (different forum, not this one) who drove 2700 miles to see me. That made my day. A couple of days, actually.
