Same here. I've been working on our families for 30 years, so I have lots of data in FTM.

    Which reminds me.
One time my sister in law almost killed me during a Scrabble game because I kept putting down 2 and 3 letter words and getting mega points.

    It was ugly.

Those picture are awesome, particularly the flowers. You have a natural talent for framing and overall composition. Hopefully by the time that you next film a piano, your photography will have made you enough money to afford a Steinway. LOL.

Have you ever tried motion photography.
Have a look at this video showing the work of one of my friends. Filming this opening with a 35mm Panavision camera was quite a challenge. That scene at 2:46 is one of the most unforgettable moments in cinematography. The whole effect was made so much better by Dave Grusin's wonderful music score. The film won an Oscar to add to Billy's collection.

Wow, awesome video. Maybe sometime in the future I'll get into video, but I don't see it right now.

Here's another pic from last week.

Apart from the £50,000 cost of a Panavision camera, 35mm film costs £1,000 per roll including all the processing and printing. (1.000 feet which is 11 minutes)
Prior to editing, Billy shot 3 rolls for those 'Golden pond' credits. The final costing of those credits was about £20,000.
A lot of work is done today on hiband 4k resolution video. It saves on processing costs, but the cameras cost a fortune.

metalworking, tabletop gaming, gardening (at this point indoor, because fuck texas and its psychotic weather, and the damn cantaloupe sized squirrel that roams the neighborhood.) and currently working on getting into growing edible mushrooms. (oysters atm, but would like to do portobellos soon) reading about pretty much anything, annoying my cats (in a friendly way) online gaming.

Billy is a great character and does everything with a smile. His work while we were shooting Gandhi was truly outstanding.
He only stepped in half way through the production when Ronny Taylor became seriously ill. Needless to say, he and Richard Attenborough worked well together.

I love this interview about his mediation skills. Typical Billy.!!!!!
