Hi etherea! Hi Tiger! Hi Everybody!
This is Scorpio Kenny, just checkin' in. I'm the hippie who started this space. Happy Hippie House Party.
I created this space because so many people here wanted to move into a real commune or have a meeting place here on-line or club house. At the start of this thread it was based on a real commune house that I really lived in in 1973 in San Francisco. Only I made this house huge for everyone to fit in. Read the first few pages here of this thread and you'll get the idea. If you take the time to read through the first 10 or 20 pages you'll get the whole picture. Hippie house.
I've been away for more than a year but I'm back. Hi to all.

So then, this is a dead space. Nobody really cares any more. A San Francisco major 300 person commune supporting this space. I'm here

  16. I did try to revive the house a wee while back with no joy unfortunately Kenny. I have actually found that there is nothing for me here any more and decided to step out but when I saw that you had posted I wanted to respond.

Hello Hippies! Nice to see you all checking in... yes we have gone thru many changes but now it seems to have settled down a bit.

Recently we did move hippy.com to a new server and saved all the content. You can find it at hipplanet.com...it's all there. A bit of a struggle finding all the threads and posts and pictures, but I think we've got it finished now.

I'm also traveling a lot more now, and adding stuff to the hiptravelguide.com again.

And yes, I still hold on to my hippie/hippy beliefs and practices, hope you are all wearing something appropriate for the occasion, perhaps nude?

We all need to hang together in this very challenging world. Hippies made it through all the 20th century and began before that, so let's not let the dream die!

I have found peace. It is an awesome discovery. Had to leave the US of A to find it, but I'm glad to be here now...as they say.

The world needs hippies now more than ever, the USA in particular.

In the last few years, I have figured myself out more than ever. It makes sense now that I wanted to be a hippie back in the daze, even though I was a closeted hippie. And it makes sense that one of the happiest times of my life was when I lived in a hippie island paradise on the west coast. Now, I'm out and proud, and loving it!

And now, the forces of darkness are gathering again. We are needed. If we don't stop them, who will?
