God has been proven to exist based upon the most reserved view of the known laws of physics. For much more on that, see my below article, which details physicist and mathematician Prof. Frank J. Tipler's Omega Point cosmology and the Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE) correctly describing and unifying all the forces in physics. The Omega Point cosmology demonstrates that the known laws of physics (viz., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics) require that the universe end in the Omega Point: the final cosmological singularity and state of infinite informational capacity having all the unique properties traditionally claimed for God, and of which is a different aspect of the Big Bang initial singularity, i.e., the first cause.

For anyone who has ever wondered about such questions as what the meaning of life is, what the purpose of their own life is, whether there is life after death, whether God exists, what the future holds for humanity, and why anything exists at all as opposed to nothingness, then this article answers all of those questions using the known laws of physics.

This article further provides an examination of the globalist political power-elite: history is given on their organizational structure and their methods of accumulating power; and analysis is given on where they're attempting to take the world, i.e., their self-termed New World Order world government and world religion.

The article furnishes documentation on what the globalist oligarchy's ultimate goal is. This ultimate goal of theirs most popularly goes by the name of transhumanism: immortality through technology. However, I explain in the article that the coming radical life-extension technologies create a fundamental dilemma for the oligarchs, which is why they must dominate world society before such technology becomes a reality. The details of that dilemma are explained in Sec. 8.2.2: "The Mark of the Beast" of the article.

Thus, this article explains to people what is to occur and why it is to occur, so that they will not be in ignorance as to the events that are to unfold.

Below one can download the article for free. I encourage everyone to generously share this article with others. By all means, please save it to your hard-drive and give others copies of it. Also, feel free to share the text of this post. The article is in PDF format.

    ""
ABSTRACT: Analysis is given of the Omega Point cosmology, an extensively peer-reviewed proof (i.e., mathematical theorem) published in leading physics journals by professor of physics and mathematics Frank J. Tipler, which demonstrates that in order for the known laws of physics to be mutually consistent, the universe must diverge to infinite computational power as it collapses into a final cosmological singularity, termed the Omega Point. The theorem is an intrinsic component of the Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE) describing and unifying all the forces in physics, of which itself is also required by the known physical laws. With infinite computational resources, the dead can be resurrected--never to die again--via perfect computer emulation of the multiverse from its start at the Big Bang. Miracles are also physically allowed via electroweak quantum tunneling controlled by the Omega Point cosmological singularity. The Omega Point is a different aspect of the Big Bang cosmological singularity--the first cause--and the Omega Point has all the haecceities claimed for God in the traditional religions.

From this analysis, conclusions are drawn regarding the social, ethical, economic and political implications of the Omega Point cosmology.

Prof. Frank J. Tipler's Omega Point cosmology has been peer-reviewed and published in a number of the world's leading physics and science journals.[1] Even NASA itself has peer-reviewed his Omega Point Theorem and found it correct according to the known laws of physics (see below). No refutation of it exists within the peer-reviewed scientific literature, or anywhere else for that matter.

Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, in which the above August 2007 paper was published, is one of the world's leading peer-reviewed astrophysics journals.

Prof. Tipler's paper "Ultrarelativistic Rockets and the Ultimate Future of the Universe" was an invited paper for a conference held at and sponsored by NASA Lewis Research Center, so NASA itself has peer-reviewed Tipler's Omega Point Theorem (peer-review is a standard process for published proceedings papers; and again, Tipler's said paper was an *invited* paper by NASA, as opposed to what are called "poster papers").

Zygon is the world's leading peer-reviewed academic journal on science and religion.

Out of 50 articles, Prof. Tipler's 2005 Reports on Progress in Physics paper--which presents the Omega Point/Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE)--was selected as one of 12 for the "Highlights of 2005" accolade as "the very best articles published in Reports on Progress in Physics in 2005 [Vol. 68]. Articles were selected by the Editorial Board for their outstanding reviews of the field. They all received the highest praise from our international referees and a high number of downloads from the journal Website." (See Richard Palmer, Publisher, "Highlights of 2005", Reports on Progress in Physics. http://webcitation.org/5o9VkK3eE )

Reports on Progress in Physics is the leading journal of the Institute of Physics, Britain's main professional body for physicists. Further, Reports on Progress in Physics has a higher impact factor (according to Journal Citation Reports) than Physical Review Letters, which is the most prestigious American physics journal (one, incidently, which Prof. Tipler has been published in more than once). A journal's impact factor reflects the importance the science community places in that journal in the sense of actually citing its papers in their own papers.

For much more on these matters, see my above-cited article "The Physics of God and the Quantum Gravity Theory of Everything" in addition to my below website:

Theophysics: God Is the Ultimate Physicist http://theophysics.host56.com , http://theophysics.ifastnet.com

The only way to avoid the Omega Point cosmology is to reject the known laws of physics (i.e., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics), and hence to reject empirical science: as these physical laws have been confirmed by every experiment to date. That is, there exists no rational reason for thinking that the Omega Point cosmology is incorrect, and indeed, one must engage in extreme irrationality in order to argue against the Omega Point cosmology.

Additionally, we now have the quantum gravity Theory of Everything (TOE) required by the known laws of physics and that correctly describes and unifies all the forces in physics: of which inherently produces the Omega Point cosmology. So here we have an additional high degree of assurance that the Omega Point cosmology is correct.

    -----

    Note:

    1. While there is a lot that gets published in physics journals that is anti-reality and non-physical (such as String Theory, which violates the known laws of physics and has no experimental support whatsoever), the reason such things are allowed to pass the peer-review process is because the paradigm of assumptions which such papers are speaking to has been made known, and within their operating paradigm none of the referees could find anything crucially wrong with said papers. That is, the paradigm itself may have nothing to do with reality, but the peer-reviewers could find nothing fundamentally wrong with such papers within the operating assumptions of that paradigm. Whereas, e.g., the operating paradigm of Prof. Tipler's 2005 Reports on Progress in Physics paper and his other papers on the Omega Point Theorem is the known laws of physics, i.e., our actual physical reality which has been repeatedly confirmed by every experiment conducted to date. So the professional physicists charged with refereeing these papers could find nothing fundamentally wrong with them within their operating paradigm, i.e., the known laws of physics.

Nice copy and paste for your first post, OP.....but there are a few problems.

    1 Tipler isn't a mainstream physicist.

2 He is a subscriber to the theory of intelligent design. Of course he is going to "discover" things that support that theory.

3 Assuming the omega point theory is a valid one (and it's a term Tipler himself came up with, hence he is discovering what he invented) how is it synonymous with God?

4 OP sounds like Tipler himself....

Hi, Meagain. The originating post of this thread by me is my own writing.

Regarding Wikipedia, it's the encyclopedia that any ignoramus and/or bigot can edit, and so it's not surprising to find that many do. If you'll notice in that Wikipedia article that you linked to ("Frank J. Tipler", Feb. 26, 2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Frank_J._Tipler&oldid=540416759 , http://www.webcitation.org/6EkrgVOM9 ), absolutely nothing of substance is said against physicist and mathematician Prof. Frank J. Tipler or his Omega Point cosmology. All the criticisms from the cited critics consist either of the fallacies of non sequitur, false bare assertions, and so on.

The Wikipedia article on Prof. Tipler was taken over by a band of verbally-vile, abusive and hate-filled antitheist miscreants from the FSTDT Refugee Board, a discussion forum at http://fstdt.proboards.com ("FSTDT" stands for "Fundies Say the Darndest Things!"). None of them even knew about Prof. Tipler and his work before a television news report stirred their ire and got them into a frothing conniption. Nor did they have the slightest interest in bothering to actually attempt learning about said before beginning their vandalization of any articles mentioning Tipler and his work on Wikipedia.

They did a real hatchet-job on the "Frank J. Tipler" article, and now said article reads as if a drunken derelict who has never actually directly read Prof. Tipler's works wrote it, since its paraphrasing of Tipler's works mangles said works by attributing ideas to Tipler that he has never advanced. They even cut out the section mentioning the Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE) and the praise his 2005 Reports on Progress in Physics paper, which presents it, got from the peer-reviewers at Reports on Progress in Physics.

I address criticisms of Prof. Tipler's Omega Point cosmology more in-depth in Sec. 4: "Criticisms of the Omega Point Cosmology", p. 26-28 of my following article:

    Victronex,

    Hi.

What you need to do is explain what this theory is. There is no way I'm going to read all those papers and I doubt that I would understand what is in them anyway.

As a simple person I need to know what Tipler's definition of god is to begin with, statement such as
conveys no usable information to me.

Having found the power to raise the dead is a pretty powerful statement that requires extraordinary proof that can be explained to me in very simple terms.

Ah great, the 645,902,337th attempt to prove God.
I didn't read any of it, but I am pretty sure that it is very easy to disproof any of your 'evidence', be it by logic, science and/or philosophy.

And for what must be the billionth time, I wonder why people bother? Usually they end up with such a distorted definition of God-as in this bizarre instance-that they prove nothing.

Like it or not, most believers regard God as embodying an Abrahamic God persona. Not an omega point, or a Gaian joint consciousness, or any other pseudo-intellectual piffle.

OP provides links that prove nothing regarding God. God cannot be proven, for that fact would render faith irrelevant and unnecessary.

For the billionth time, solve a problem that matters- such as space travel, or energy use, or climate control, or food production- and stop wasting time and money on nonsensical quasi-scientoreligious lunacy.

    /rant.

Faith can't be found in science and science can't be found in faith. They're two opposing teams and even if the teams realize we're all the same inside the game goes into overtime.

I don't know or understand exactly what OP said. But I skimmed it and got the general idea.

And it's one of those things that, even if the theories are right, basically has nothing to do with god, unless you go call something that's not god, god.

Exactly. Like even the Bible has been edited and rewritten so many times the true word/philosophy is lost. What is God? No one knows and the laboratory has as good a chance of solving it as a philosopher.

Actually, it doesn't get any more mainstream than physicist and mathematician Prof. Frank J. Tipler and his work on the Omega Point/Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE).

If you're just talking about media presence, Prof. Tipler has appeared in many major-media television shows: among them by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), The Learning Channel (TLC), the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), many major-media local affiliate news stations (i.e., affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox), and also including recently the television series Through the Wormhole presented by host Morgan Freeman, the major Hollywood film star. For physicists, it's exceedingly hard to get bigger than that.

And when it comes to the physics itself, it doesn't get any more mainstream than the Omega Point/Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE), because the only way to mathematically avoid it is to reject the known laws of physics (viz., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics), and hence to reject empirical science. Indeed, even Prof. Stephen Hawking has turned his back upon empirical science by promoting the String Theory extension M-Theory in his latest book with Dr. Leonard Mlodinow [The Grand Design (New York, NY: Bantam Books, 2010)] to argue that God's existence isn't necessary, although M-Theory has no observational evidence confirming it.

With String Theory and other nonempirical physics, the physics community is reverting back to the epistemological methodology of Aristotelianism, which held to physical theories based upon a priori philosophical ideals. One of the a priori ideals held by many present-day physicists is that God cannot exist, and so if rejecting the existence of God requires rejecting empirical science, then so be it.

Whereas Prof. Tipler accepts all the known laws of physics, of which have been confirmed by every experiment to date. One has to engage in woo-woo stuff to avoid the Omega Point TOE, as Prof. Hawking has unfortunately chosen to do.

Also keep in mind that with Prof. Tipler, whatever one's uninformed initial feelings about him, we're quite conservatively talking about the most elite physicist who has ever lived. His Ph.D. is in the field of Global General Relativity (the same rarefied field that Profs. Roger Penrose and Stephen Hawking developed), and additionally he is also an expert in quantum field theory (i.e., Quantum Mechanics combined with special-relativistic particle physics), and computer theory. Not even Profs. Penrose and Hawking have all those qualifications, let alone Einstein or Newton.

Tipler is Professor of Physics and Mathematics (joint appointment) at Tulane University. His Omega Point cosmology--which is now a proof (i.e., mathematical theorem) of God's existence per the known laws of physics (viz., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics)--has been peer-reviewed and published in a number of prestigious physics and science journals, such as Reports on Progress in Physics (the leading journal of the Institute of Physics, Britain's main professional organization for physicists), Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (one of the world's leading astrophysics journals), Physics Letters, the International Journal of Theoretical Physics (a journal Physics Nobel Laureate Prof. Richard Feynman also published in during the 1980s), etc.

Prof. John A. Wheeler (the physicist who gave black holes their name and the father of most relativity research in the US) wrote that "Frank Tipler is widely known for important concepts and theorems in general relativity and gravitation physics" on p. viii in his "Foreword" to The Anthropic Cosmological Principle (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1986) by cosmologist Prof. John D. Barrow and Tipler, which was the first book wherein Tipler's Omega Point Theory was described. On p. ix of said book, Prof. Wheeler wrote that Chapter 10 of the book, which concerns the Omega Point Theory, "rivals in thought-provoking power any of the [other chapters]."

Rather, you are a subscriber to mendacious vandalizations of Wikipedia and other uninformed and ignorant sources. Prof. Tipler is so far advanced beyond Intelligent Design that he makes that whole field look like children playing in a sandbox.

Because the Omega Point possesses the unique properties traditionally claimed for God. Hence, by definition, it is God. For the details on this, see Sec. 7.1: "The Haecceities of God", pp. 35-37 of my following article:

James Redford, "The Physics of God and the Quantum Gravity Theory of Everything", Social Science Research Network (SSRN), Sept. 10, 2012 (orig. pub. Dec. 19, 2011), 186 pp., doi:10.2139/ssrn.1974708; PDF, 1741424 bytes, MD5: 8f7b21ee1e236fc2fbb22b4ee4bbd4cb. http://ssrn.com/abstract=1974708 , http://archive.org/download/ThePhys...TheoryOfEverything/Redford-Physics-of-God.pdf , http://theophysics.host56.com/Redford-Physics-of-God.pdf , http://scribd.com/doc/79273334

In fact, I do not sound like Prof. Tipler. But then a person who is not very observant would tend to confuse different things together. You don't display any indication that you have read Tipler's works. So it's really quite absurd that you would say I sound like someone whose writings you are to the larger extent completely unfamiliar with. On what basis could you possibly makes such a comparison? Only this: utterly blind and fancifully absurd wishful thinking. Which goes to show the absurd psychological acrobatics that you're willing to engage in in order to avoid confronting a position which threatens your Weltanschauung, and hence your ego, since humans tend to define their self-image and self-worth based upon their worldview, and hence to give up one's previous false Weltanschauung represents a form of ego-death.

Yet the only way for a person to evolve is to kill-off parts of their former self. Either a person embraces ego-death and thereby evolves to a higher degree of reason, or they remain wallowing in their own ignorance.

The former option represents paradise--ultimately considered, that is. The latter option represents hell. The reason most people quite willingly choose hell is because hell is simply their own willful ignorance reflected back upon them. That is, it's the only thing they know, because they haven't allowed their mind to open wide enough to consider a different possibility. But they won't allow themselves to choose a different possibility because that would involve questioning all the things they had been inculcated to believe. In short, it would involve them questioning themselves. It would involve them questioning their place in the world and their relation to it. But to do so involves ego-death.

But as I said, ego-death, whether in large part or small, is necessary for a person to evolve.

The fact that God has been proven to exist according to the known laws of physics does not mean that this leaves no room for faith. Recall that Jesus Christ defined Himself as the truth (see John 14:6). Hence, truth, particularly scientific truth, confirms the existence of God and Yeshua Ha’Mashiach as the Second Person of the Trinity.

The word used in the New Testament for faith is pistis (pÐstij), which means persuasion, as in persuaded by the evidence. It further carries the meaning of a ground of belief, a guarantee, an assurance. Faith in the Christian sense is trust in the truth, even when things seem hopeless. It does not mean a lack of rationality in coming to belief in Jesus Christ. Indeed, Paul appealed to reason when he wrote in Romans 1:19,20 that an understanding of the natural world leads to knowledge of God (New King James Version):

    ""
because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, . . .
    ""

After all, some form of reason must be used in order for a person to convert in belief from one religion to another; or from any belief to another belief, for that matter. It can either be veridical reason, or false reason--but some process of reasoning must be involved.

Having faith in God is having trust in the truth, since the Godhead in all Its fullness is the highest obtainment of truth: said state is the infinite perfection of all knowledge. As Paul wrote, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, King James Version.)

For much more on the above, see the following article by me:

The very definition of faith is the veritable lack of evidence. There is no truth, unless we are to consider fairy tales to be truth, to be gleaned from faith.
