Did you ask for Mick Molloy's auto? He's not bad. Did you see bad eggs a couple of years back? Laughed my arse off.

I didn't mind Strange Bedfellows either with Paul Hogan and Michael Caton. There's just something about Caton playing a gay guy :p

yeah bad eggs was funny. Other flic just came to mind, "the Nugget" or sumpin like that with Bana.

I caught some of Strange Bedfellows on tv not long ago and i laughed a few times. It was cool to see Hogan playing something other than Mick. Caton is great too...his Darrell(?) Carrigan is the best ever.

    ditto!

ahh, i love heaps of aussie films. here's some other of my favorites:

    two hands
    mullet
    blackrock
    the big steal
    metal skin
    the boys
    chopper
    the rage in placid lake
    the hard word
    dags
    bad boy bubby

i've definitely got to see little fish some time! have you seen look both ways? look both ways is what i ended up seeing at the cinemas instead of little fish... and let's just say that i don't regret seeing it over little fish (even though i bet little fish is just as good)!

ha ha, that's crazy that you saw them shooting crackerjack. crackerjack is another gem for me... it's just so honest and funny. and about what the government wants in the case of indigenous films; let me just say that i'm glad 'the proposition' was made. ;)

there was that movie about an australian communist woman who gets to sleep with stalin during a trip to moscow, and whose son born from this union, played by geoffrey rush, slowly becames somekind of a dictator himself.
has anyone else see it? what's the title?

I cant believe no one's said Lantana, it was great!
    Bad Eggs
    The Castle (brilliant)
    Muriel's Wedding and Priscilla

But I really hated 3Dollars. I love David Wenham and heard great reviews but it seriously was the worst Australian film I've seen. It dragged on and was generally more idiotic and overacted and completely missed the mark. Anyhoo thats just my opinion.

I remember one episode of Dancing with the Stars where one couple danced to Love is in the Air. Mecurio basically said he never wanted to hear that song again :)

    Picnic At Hanging Rock

    The Chant Of Jimmy Blacksmith

    The Club

  15. Thank god, I was waiting for someone to mention what I think is one of the greatest movies ever. Noah Taylor gets a big sloppy kiss from me.

Has anyone seen "Dogs in Space" with michael hutchence? A great movie for druggies and old school punk fans.

Look Both Ways was good too, Adelaide movie [IMG] HA!
And Goddess of 1967, Rose Byrne is so sexy.
Oh yeah, another great Adelaide movie, Bad Boy Bubby, what a fucked up film........I loved every second except for the incest bits [IMG]
