    Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and only plan to write and reply in this thread.

Anyway, I am 14 currently and am in 8th grade. I am male and am from India. There is this Chinese girl who I really like. I know as a fact that she considers me a kind person, because she one said that I am "really nice." However, I do not know if she likes me (in the like as in love). Actually, I do like her, indeed, but I want us to just be good friends. ((Our health class just learned about STIs, which made me not want to get into relationships until I am well settled with a stable job.))

We do, at times, converse with eachother, but it's mainly nothing of great significance. All I want is for us to become great friends, but I do not know what to say/ask. During lunch, we sit at different lunch tables. I often find myself glancing over to her table for about five seconds, wishing so much that I were sitting in the table too. Also, I have not told ANY of my friends that I like this girl, because I do not know 110% that they can keep this a secret.

I have tried to impress her, but all I am really good at is making origami figures out of sticky notes... (How lame)... Academically(I do not know the spelling), I am pretty descent, staying constantly at B+'s to A-'s.

    Please offer me suggestions...

(P.S: She is VERY pretty, in my opinion, and has a great personality.)

first thing you need to do is relax your 14 not every girl you will speak with will take it as invtion for a date.
seconed if you think you can just master the courge to go speak to her one simply do it and have no shame. no pain no gain:)

if you got to have some trick to talk to her just discover something she likes, take some intrest in it and mention it a few times while talking to your friends near her or if she has some subject in school that is diffuclt for offer her help(since your grades are good).

and most importent don't sell yourself short your 14 you don't have to have some mad skills in any subject(and a cute origami gift might actully help strengh realtion with her after you start talking to her), if you do think you need to improve in some way start lering how to play an instrunment or doing some sport but do it for yourself not for her.
