I've been doing dxm for about 6 months or so a few times a month and never had any problems until recently. The last few times I've done it I felt some moderate discomfort in my lower stomach area (I think. The pain seemed to change locations). I also puked a few of the last times I did it and that never happened before. Another thing about it though is the pain usually occurred several hours into the trip and pretty much just when I was sitting alone and thinking about it, it would intensify. I'm wondering if it's mostly in my mind or I've done some kind of occumulated damage to my internal organs by doing this stuff too much. I normally drink a 5 oz. bottle of delsym.

Come to think of it I did drink some alcohol a few of those times but I didn't think it was enough to matter. Also I read somewhere on here that dxm kind of loses its fun around the 40th or 50th time you do it. Can anyone confirm this and does anyone know why this is? I got a 3 oz bottle and I'm going to drink it tomorrow and see what happens. I've read that triple c's are pretty risky. I'll stick to delsym. I like the length of the trip. Especially if you do it at night and stay up all night. The trip kind of goes through stages throughout the night and sometimes I still feel differant the next day.

 

Dude I do dxm all day every day I'm actually guzzling a 3 oz right now... God damn.. I cant drink delsym that much its terrible.. You have to seperate your drinks like one sip every 15 minutes, and I mean BIG SIP. It will just digest faster and not near as much of a stomach load.. Weed always seems to help and I read something about taking a benadryl before you start drinking apparently takes away nausea. Great drug, shitty process of eating it lol, extractions do the trick in my opinion! Just go buy a thing of zippo lighter fluid, ammonia, and some lemon juice, then read the agent lemon extraction tek on dextroverse. PERFECT dxm flawless results.. Delsyms like evil. Its shit. Its the shittiest way of consuming dxm and its the shittiest type of dxm. the word polistirex makes me cringe!

there is a lot of interesting stuff on dxm though, if you read the FAQ and such it actually has many hidden charactoristics youd never think of.

 

Hmm, I kind of wanted to try Delsym soon. I'm wondering whether a 350 dose of DXM hbr plus a 5 oz Delsym would fuck me up good for a night.

 

Also, to the OP, do you ever experience this when you're not tripping? Alcohol is said to increase nausea, and it makes sense. I've never tried the combo. It just doesn't seem worthwhile to me. I did read of a "50 trip limit" in the DXM FAQ. I'm sure this isn't a precise quantity, but tolerance can build to it while negative effects can still persist. I have no idea how long it would take to lose your tolerance once you have it.

 

Only when I was tripping. I've done a bottle of robitussin and a 3oz bottle of del before and it was pretty good. It makes for an intense peak anyway. And weed makes the trip better always. I like smoking once I start comming up. It makes it kick in harder. I usually chug the whole bottle at once so ill try the other way tomorrow.

Wow. I just got back from the liquor store and I decided to stop by CVS as well and a 5 oz bottle of Delsym was 16 bucks. :/ DXM Polistirex is so expensive. I guess I'll stick with HBr.

I've got mucinex right now, the two layer kind, 60 mg of dxm per tablet. My sister tells me you can grind off one side to get rid of the guaifinesin but I'm not sure which side, the white or yellowish side.

 

guaifinesin should be the white side..

 

You sure, because everywhere I read it tells me that the extended release is the yellow side, and the immediate release is the white side.
