Definitely the Weirdest Situation I've Ever Been In

So theres this girl, and I've never felt feelings for a girl like I've felt for her in my entire life. Everything about her is amazing. We've been "talking" seriously for about a month, but I've known her since I was around 13. We have both expressed our feelings towards eachother, even though mine may be a little stronger than hers. Shes told me that she doesn't want a boyfriend because she just ended a 2 and a half year relationship with this kid. She said that when we started talking. Yesterday though, she told me that she couldn't do this anymore and she just wanted to be friends for now. She said it was getting to her how serious things were becoming. This really broke my heart, and so today I told her a bunch of stuff and the final result is that we decided to take it as if yesterday never happened and to take things back to where they were before that day. I just don't know what to do from here, because she is definitely someone I don't want to give up.

 

don't smother her. take this one piece of advice. i know you feel like you have an ocean of love to give to her, but from her end, you just look needy and overbearing. take it slow.

 

Agreed. My ex is driving me crazy trying to get back with me!! I told him I just want to be friends but he calls me all day, asks me what I'm doing or who I'm talking to, follows me around, yadda yadda yadda. Trying to keep it cool, but his "ocean of love" is making me wanna drown myself.

Truth be told, if she wants to be with you she'll let you know.
