(I made this post because the existing similar one was outdated.) I'm looking for hippies my age (18) in the Guanacaste area to meet, surf with, get drinks with, or whatever. :sunny: Hit me up if you're chill.
hey, I can't answer on my wall (I guess it's not activated yet). Anyway, I'm not planning to go to any places in particular, I'm not even sure I will get to costa rica even though I'd really love to. When you come back, please tell me all about your trip : places, people...
I will be in San Jose the third week in Sept. I've never been there before so any advise is welcome. I may not have much time to get out and about the country so I guess San Jose is about my limit.
San Jose is an easy city to navigate, on foot or by taxi, (which is cheep). Buses go everywhere but each company is independent and you have to search to find the rout you want. You cannot rent a motorcycle or scooter, too much risk of theft and driving in the city is VERY HAZARDOUS. Get out into the country to use a motorcycle.
Went to San José, then Guanacaste via ferry between Puntarenas and Paquera. Drove to Santa Teresa then Nicoya. Bypassed Liberia and went to Buena Vista del Rincon in Cañas Dulces. Drove back to San José for a final overnight and flew home. It was sensational!
