When is Chinese New Year? New moon?

Yup, the Year of the Pig is coming! :)

Is that an auspicious year for Chinese?

You must know a lot of Chinese traditional cultures, right?
Can you tell the 12 years' names in China?

The "racist" remark is a classic example of the cliched "straw man" fallacy.
This is not a racist comment. Stupid people are stupid regardless of their race and should not use their race--or culture--as an excuse to be stupid.

She called this comment - "it's ugly, dirty, the ppl are mostly rude and it is communist!" - racist...while the poster may not of said that the Chinese people are ugly and dirty, it does sound as if the person has some pretty harsh bias against China and its people, close to boarding on racism.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying living here in Beijing...I find the people to be some of the most friendly I have met in any country.

"Friendly Chinese" is an oxymoron in my experience.

I live here (China). I don't recommend anyone coming here, for any reason. I can't wait to get out. I'll never come back.
