Does anyone know of careers that are good for history majors? Whenever I tell people I'm a history major they always say "oh, so you want to be a teacher?" but I don't see myself being a teacher. I figure that just having a college degree will open up doors for you. Any thoughts or advice for me?
you can, teach history, work for the history channel or, go back to school. Those are your 3 options.
Sorry man, and I mean no offense. But I had a friend who got a degree in history and he still works for his dad, (who's a lawyer in NY.) My major was retail business management, but with the current state of the economy, I doubt 95% of today's college students will go on to any type of well paying career.
