I live very near to Manchester, and thought the best place to acquaint myself with the gay community would be to pay a visit to the famous Canal Street. I'm 18 years old, and I've never had a partner before - so I'm hoping that will change if I were to go to Manchester's gay village. I'd be very interested to read some views and experiences from people who have been. Where's the best place to go? And an odd question - but how do you get there? I'd probably get the train to Piccadilly, but (useless as I am at map reading), I wouldn't know where to go from there. Strange request I know - but directions would be much appreciated guys! Thanks.
