Going barefoot feels so damn good! Why do people object SO strenuously?? I've been reading all the posts here and elsewhere (social strictures, "law,") and I still don't get it. It's not that we're exposing genitalia or engaging in sex. Just bare soles on the ground. I understand all the "societal norms" and associations. But, GEE WHIZ, it's just BARE SOLES. Even when wearing the slightest sandals, the bare foot is wholly visible. Again, it's ALL about the sole, and people's HUGE anxiety about feeling.
There are a lot of jerks out there. People who feel free to let you know how you are not conforming to their expectations. They make up whatever "facts" needed to support their complaint. Health codes, unsanitary, dirty hippie...whatever they think will work. I suspect they are generally unhappy and would benefit greatly from a barefoot walk in the park. Overall I care less about them then they do about me.
I never care for what people say to me about going barefoot. I just go on with what I’m doing and it suck’s to be them. They should try going barefoot outside and in stores and other places to see how good it feels and how happy your feet are. And how good the feel not being in shoes. Our feet are not made to be in shoes they want to be free from shoes . But some people think that it’s not right and they don’t know what they are missing out on.
